How do I enrol my child at Kingsville?
Foundation (Prep) enrolments follow the statewide Victorian Government timeline. Applications for 2027 Foundation opened on Monday 20 April 2026. For all other year levels, you can submit an enrolment application at any time. Visit our Enrolment page for full details.
Can I book a school tour?
Absolutely, we encourage it! Group school tours are held every Thursday at 9:30am during term time, or you can request an individual appointment at a time that suits you. Contact our admin team to book.
What is the IB Primary Years Programme?
The IB-PYP is a world-class approach to learning that develops curious, caring and globally-minded students. Kingsville is the only accredited IB-PYP school in Melbourne’s inner west. Learn more on our Teaching & Learning page.
Do I need to live in the school zone to enrol?
Students who live within our school zone are guaranteed a place. Students outside the zone may be enrolled if places are available. Give us a call and we’ll talk you through it.
When does my child start Foundation (Prep)?
Children starting Foundation in 2027 begin on Feb 2nd 2027. Before then, your child will be invited to transition sessions during Term 4, 2026 to help them get comfortable and excited about starting school.
How do I access the parent portal?
Kingsville uses Compass as our parent portal for newsletters, reports, attendance and communications. Once enrolled, you’ll receive login details from our admin team. Having trouble? Give us a call and we’ll help.
Where can I find the school's policies?
All current school policies are available to download on our Our School page. If you need something that isn’t listed, contact our admin team and we’ll get it to you.
What are the school hours?
School starts at 9:00am and finishes at 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Gates open from 8:45am. Before and after school care is also available, contact us for details.
