Two frameworks, working as one

The Victorian Curriculum

The Victorian Curriculum provides the content. The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme provides the framework that brings it to life through inquiry.

The KPS way

A rich, engaging and challenging curriculum

At Kingsville Primary School, we are committed to providing a rich, engaging, and challenging curriculum that inspires every student to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our teaching and learning programs are based on the Victorian Curriculum F–10, which outlines the knowledge, skills, and capabilities students develop throughout their first eleven years of schooling. The curriculum provides a strong foundation for lifelong learning and prepares students to become confident, capable, and active members of their communities.

While academic achievement is important, we also recognise that success in today’s world requires much more than subject knowledge alone. Our students are encouraged to think critically, solve problems creatively, work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and develop a strong sense of personal and social responsibility.
